A 41 Gun Salute

A 41 gun salute By Stanley Russell Harris The new mad Author Can you hear the Canons? Can you hear the guns? Can you hear the horses? Can you hear all the noise? No one is being shot. No one crying in alarm. No one fears the Canons. No one cringes at the shouts of fire. The Canons look so shiny. The Canons look so mean. The Canons look well cared for. The Canons look, so clean. Fire away the King's Troop. Fire away as Queen's folk you are. Fire your guns in salute. For the Queen's jubilee of Sapphire. NB You can see the 41 gun salute by the Kings Troop Royal Artillery on the Facebook page of The new mad Author. Or on BBC News's Facebook page if it is still there. 7-2-17. Stanley (The new mad Author)
