" Savin' Grace "

'Tis wisened sailor heeds his caution, Whilst whistlin' up mere summer's breeze. Lest shall be winter's whirlwind, He mayhap so then receive. Listen well ye landsmen all, That ye may be of reason so. Ne'er let these seas enthrall, Ye from earthen perch to go. Wind & sea & sun thus do, Await with glee we chosen few. Who would with abandon sail, Into tempest which doth us hail. Sole our savin' grace is then, That which sails in dark o'night. She's faithful to all sailors when, Lights our way her bright moonlight. SeaWolf ©
