there's a depth to your simple words/lines and your imagery. You've done so much with just three short lines. Impressive. Have a great new year, hugs, Sara

What a stunning haiku, i love your last line , its perfect and also the opening line where you’ve described the sun as citrine and how when it rises everything is beautiful. Theres always so much depth and your way with painting imagery is truly impeccable in just few syllables. Pleasure reading this. Hope Christmas went well for you . Sending you light always

Citrine sun rising and cardinals singing.. Ah, such eloquent tapestry of imageries and emotions you've hued here with enchanting words.. When the last leaf is waiting to fall from the bare branches and float on the soft sunshine.. A gorgeous haiku poem this is, dear Eve.. Love this! Sending you light and well wishes..
