In Balboa Park there is a Reflection Pond that was used for therapy during WW2.
Lilies white,
Red, blue and yellow,
Jutting from out the pond,
Pad broad and flattened out
But not one frog to sit.
Schools of gold
Some of white
With few of ebony.
