65 Years

Sixty five years of tears and fears
                               strains, pains and emotional drains
                               Their destiny and love intervened
                               none nor nothing to come between

                                  ~~~ LOVE PREVAILED ~~~

                               Watch out you naysayers with doubts
                               love on steroids was all about
                               secured with glue, super sticky too
                               Holes and cracks permanently sealed
                               wounds and woes finally healed

                                  ~~~ LOVE NEVER FAILED ~~~

                              The enormity of this union abound
                              palpable, luscious LOVE all around
                              Examples of tenacity through turmoil
                              learned simmer through trials not boil

                                    ~~~ LOVE REMAINED ~~~

                             Unconditional LOVE preserved us all
                             support given whether wall or fall
                             We derivatives of unbreakable bond
                             celebrated with beautiful sing and song

                                ~~~  LOVE SUSTAINED ~~~

                             Life in these lovers still goes on
                             in their legacy we as family belong
                             A timeless LOVE for the ages
                             forever recorded on these pages

                               ~~~ LOVE CONQUERED ALL ~~~
                                ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~


         For my parents-- lovers, survivors, heroes, both 85 years old !!!
         Celebrated 65 TH wedding anniversary 10/18/2016 !!!
