Three or four blocks from ground zero,
I watched the fires after a fallen hero.
It was one long black night in Chicago.
"Goodbye Martin"; To new heartaches, "Hello".
Mayhem in the streets like a rushing river flow.
Improvements, yes; but justice continues to move slow.
