4th of July Fireworks

I love the sounds and smells that the fireworks create
and the way they make the nights sky so bright
Spraying and spewing out the fiery confetti
Pouring out its colorful, sparkling light

It brings such awe and joy to all
To see such a beautiful display
After waiting anxiously for it to come
All throughout the summer July day

Although you seem to keep busy enough
Having fun with family and friends
Parades, pools, and barbecues all day
And then fireworks when the daytime ends

Our independence day is a day to honor
Those who fight for us to be free
And to give thanks for the freedoms
We have each day in this land of liberty.

We celebrate our countries independence
With brilliant fireworks in the sky
This day comes each and every year
Celebrated on the 4th of July
