orange glow of
dipping autumn sun —
infirmary bed

messages
in the hair of front arm —
evening breeze

city noise fades
rural silence begins
clear autumn sky

smoke rings
from chimney -
autumn air

I am delighted to hear that you have found the set of 4 haiku worth the read. Thank you so much. I write mostly haiku regularly in my Facebook page. Poetry Soup too did publish my haiku which failed to receive any response from the readers. Your assessment is encouraging for me. I will continue submitting haiku poems. Thanks once again.
