40 Not Out

40 NOT OUT

Don’t ever be told

That you’re too old,

40 not out,

Punch still packs a clout.

Don’t ever be told

That you’re too old,

The world is still young

The day just begun.

Don’t ever be told

That you’re too old,

Your dreams lie in wait,

Your future is great.

Don’t ever be told

That you’re too old,

Your heart still has room,

This bride finds her groom.

Don’t ever be told

That you’re too old,

I’M 40 NOT OUT!

Let’s hear you shout!

This one made me smile. I know a woman who was engaged to be married at age 76, for the only time, and was totally in love, and their love lasted for 20 years. She had the spirit of a 21 year old, and I remember her so well. I was 15 at the time, and I always think of her as 21.
