3 Pretty Little Fairies

3 Pretty Little Fairies
are waiting for me.
Destiny, Hope and Opportunity.

I heard the good and the bad,
I laughed and I cried.
We went over everything after I died.

I've overcome my obstacles!
I had to put up such a fight.
I always known I'd make it, "in the light."

My fairies now leave me one by one.
But something was wrong.
Opportunity was already gone.

I stayed and waited for my fairies.
I waited as long as I had lived for,
until the day that I could no more.

2 pretty little fairies
One Hope, One Destiny,
said Opportunity has been waiting for me!

So I ran as fast as I could
to my fairy with the other 2.
I have to be quick, they're leaving soon,

Something takes me by surprise,
& my lungs fill up with air.
My fairies are gone, & everyone's here.

Edlynn Nau August 25, 2015 at 1:55 AM FUN IDEA! I see where you are going with it! TWEAKS:4th Verse, last line, drop one of the "WAS" used. "Opportunity was already gone." REWORK the last two verses! They do NOT keep to your rhyme scheme. VERY IMAGINITIVE and certainly worth some additional attention!
