3 Little Sparrows

2 little sparrows playing on a gate
One chasing the other over a worm the other ate
Along came another who was watching from a tree
No longer just the two with the other now there’s three
On the ground was an apple, lying in the grass
The other flew between the two, he made the others crash
So big was the apple not for one more for ten
2 friends now met another they’ll meet tomorrow
once again

I can picture it, fondly. That's how they do. I remember recently, seeing a crow hop in the back of a parked truck, popping his head up every so often to make sure everything was still cool. He must have found something good back there.

A great, well-rhymed mini-ballad of sorts...powerfully indited by a seemingly fine writer of poetic lines. ~ Kudos!
