3 Haikus

bony tree branches
thrust at the blanket of stars
sky yields to darkness.

last autumn leaves drift
rafting the river current
cavorting with wind.

storm sweeps fiercely down
cavalry charge of thunder
gusting rain hurls grits.

your talent for haikus is impressive....your use of imagery is quite effective....it was a pleasure to read your words....and the way they flow is simply superb....;)

Thanks Eric...actually I still struggle to compose haikus - the form is so restrictive, and yet challenging.
