37 Years 2003

37 Years 2003 Another year has past since we made our vows we are now departing from that place where we began our lives the children we had, the friends we made and the comfort of our classic home It’s so disheartening to leave but those we love are far away awaiting us to strenghen our kinship for what the future holds for them if not for us but we’ll be there to share their dreams of things to come as a family again….as one June 22, 2003 © Ralph Sergi

Moving away from the familiar is hard. I emigrated to another continent with my husband and little kids when I was in my early 30s.

wow, so now it must be at least 50. We will be at 50 soon enough ourselves! I enjoyed this one. I saw you had one for 2002? Gotta see what that one was about.

What a heartfelt poem Ralph, over time our lives move on as do our children. I can relate as we moved to the Isle of Man and now my son has moved back to England, but he is always in my heart no matter how far away he is:-) hugs jan xx
