I hate connection.
I hate the way their oculi stare into mine
Expecting me to speak up
They keep talking, but I tune them out
I find I tend to do that more often ever since January 15th
I had torn off everything from my calendar after that date
I didn't think I would make it past.
Obviously, I'm still here
But sometimes I still wonder why I held that bottle of pills….
