2:38am

They hang around you for the booze
Money and dope

You hang around them for the company
To hide the fact you're lonely

Your daughter is to young to see
That her daddy is in his misery

Sometimes your babygirl looks you right in
The eyes no expression just upward brows

Your woman is all ears all body and opened soul

She prays night after night for your destiny, your change

You appear grateful and with the knowing youre
Blessed though you still cant see what's in front of you

Everything in your life has the potential to change
And get better

Hopefully you see the beauty in yourself
In your life before you give up on yourself
