1966

Cast your mind back if you can to 66 and ABERFAN the rain came down without relent
IT rained so long the coal mountain went.

This happened so fast it was sad and cruel the way this mountain engulfed the school.

No time to run or get out of the class teachers and children all died in mass.

With hands they dug it was so sad to see men trying to save family.

So I say this to you every welsh woman and man never forget 66 and what happened in ABERFAN.

I saw that on The Crown then looked it up. Tragedy beyond belief…life changing for Aberfan!
