18 Years and Floating
I've got the best family
A girl could want
Mommy spends
Like she's daddy
So I've become a mommy's girl
I keep up with my grades
Currently on the honor roll
I own all the latest technology
have tons of friends
who are good to me
A job that reaches out
to the community
So why must I try to numb
the emptiness under the perfect bubble
I'm destined to pop
I try to be subtle
I'm 18 and floating
Bouncing off too many sugar coated
Envirements
It's funny cause I live in the hood
But one thing the hood contains
If not money is a unlimited amount of love
Love from family
Love from friends
and love from the unlimited amount
of boy friends their are to obtain
I've tapped into every other type
But I've never found a love to call my own
I'm 18 and i'm floating
Boucing high and low
He's out there....
