18,988 Days

18,988 Days

If you started your life before years were known,
There would be no way to commemorate,
The year you were born,
But days could be counted first one then you were two.
Because sunup and sundown were all they knew.
So, rejoice that 52 years is all we now celebrate,
Because if you were around,
When only days could be counted,
You’d be 18,988
