Stars aligned that fateful night An event unforgotten. Two souls of dust and ash collide Burning ever so bright Amidst flickers of a darkness to come. But the darkness fast approaches Bleeding lies disguised in firm assurance Of a fake promise. ----------------------------- Her chest bled the colour of many sanguine shades Hiding scars from the impact. She moved away Away from arrows that blighted her life's essence. Yet further away from a certain warmth The warmth she felt that night The night when stars aligned.
