16 Masks

I counted 16 masks today, Discarded on the street. The back-to-normal has begun But isn’t quite complete. I’m guessing most, by accident, Were dropped upon the ground, Not jubilantly yanked from faces Since new rules abound. Still, 16 masks? Just weeks ago There’d be 10 times as many And likely, in a few months’ time, I doubt if there’ll be any.

" 16 masks? Just weeks ago There’d be 10 times as many" I have to admit I was thrilled on June 12th when I could stop wearing a mask every day. I hope this is almost over. The rhyming you did made this lively and fun - a serious subject.

Absolutely no excuse for littering We dont have to wear them until we go into a medical facility BUT the border re opens on 28th and as long as folk have had 2 jabs they dont need testing - sheer madness with the Indian variant rife in the UK. will start wearing mine and dispose of it safely at home, hugs jan xx

I am still wearing mine and intend to do so until I decide otherwise. However, I don't see that many on the ground here. I am glad because the wal-mart sacks are everywhere. We really couldn't stand much more litter than that. Great to read you again. Ilene.

Too many mothers treat their children as "special" beings who don't need to pick up after themselves because mum can do that! 16 spankings should be rendered! Aloha! Rico
