13

I'm broken
Like a porcelain doll
Her straight A's shattered
Along with her perfect image
Society
Has always called me odd
And now there's a reason
But apparently it's not valid
Because for 13 years
I kept strong
But 13 years wasn't enough
Not for them
And not for me either really
My messy hair cut short
My makeup unblended
And my tears refusing to fall

Interesting! Makes me think of the early school years, when trying to find your place and fitting in. Good job!
