Having looked up info about these cicadas I can fully understand the joy they experience when released from their very long underground prison, Maureen! In summer I get cicadas in my garden, and love the sound they make:) Regards // paul

Thank you Gerson! I'm guessing where you are you get the periodic cicadas, often called locust. We get annual Dog Day Cicadas, bigger and far far fewer. I love 'em! xomo
