1,000 Horses

1,000 raging horses,
Spurred by the flames of wildfire on their tails,
Harnessed, with Iron chains,
To the locket box harboring your heart,
Could not shred one splinter
From that box
As the unbreakable power of your love
Holds firm the reins,
Through the fire of life,
Of the thousand raging horses
Of my heart.
