Lion lying in his lair
Big belly bloated

Zebra and Zebu
Warily watching, worried
Ready to run

Fatigued full feline 
Snoozes in the savannah
Animals amble

things which make you go "hmmm" a new contest...? remember hon no, periods ever, I think you are doing very well with the cut to the 3rd line!! just NO comma either, no cap's Light & Love always

Hey Robert! T'would be the ideal time for other animals to amble, when the "Fatigued...feline..is full"! Good luck with this write in the contest! The haiku can be tricky, but writing more that can stick together, while holding their own, is an amazing art. Best to you, Mikki
