There's No Bunny Hop
There's No Bunny Hop for yesteryear's bunny rabbits wag a fury tale. she bit him. he bit her. there's no carrot to share. with him missing a big patch of fur, here, there, everywhere. aah the skid marks. why does he see her smiling? why? from separate dwells, now, both watch burning bridges, seemingly all for the betterment. says who? she. where one says, i'll erase him from her memory. and hold him in effigy. she really did? aah the rhythm of a lost hop. aah the good novelty. made for funny bunny tv. drama and myth. same song and dance. says who? a soon to be stew for her new butcher. the one that was always waiting in her wings. yes, no doubt. as she says, he now a guest for her better tomorrows. maybe. for a fur tail, seemingly would have, and was much malign before it started. him and her, so saddened with eyes despair. no tails wagging, where the past never had a chance. how can this be? aren't wagging tails good? even if one is missing a big patch of fur. god forbid, how much better if pigs flew over airplanes in slop, life would be so much better between them, and the airplanes would go to market on a black belt of doom. and the pinks replaced the blues and the bunnies tailored together on a hangar. with love replacing persona non grata in this reversal of fate. how much better the hop. connie pachecho 1/28/2018
