The Magnificence of the Cosmos
Stars twinkle in the night sky While sending their invisible rays to my soul Pray, imbibed with these My whole ethos bids me to let go of my whole self And to concentrate on the mystery that I am! Made of water and blood My body, seemingly, tries to understand about itself Like me, millions of others, explore and unearth Trying to answer the same questions That gnaw them! Pray, what is it that gives us life Being made of flesh and skin is not enough Is it star dust then, I do wonder Is it the sparkles of these Is it that somehow, at the time of physical death We do fly back home and connect to our roots? My whole self is a mirage, a reality which is not real A puppet immersed in the kaleidoscopic scenes Played on its mind by the one who creates stars! And tonight, watching the stars twinkle so serenely And majestically, while the Earth slowly revolves upon itself I can only submit to whatever I am made of I can only love it And accept to follow its drive Stars, exist for a reason known not to humans And I, like millions of others, swivel in this existence As tiny ants, or as tiny grains of sand Why, rather than loading my head with turmoils Best is it to carry my cross dutifully And to load my wings with purity So as to spread this essence of submission to life Taken from the magnificence of the cosmos To the whole world While hoping such shall cure its many ails!
