I like to believe I’m not racist, but I complain about feeling surrounded by only one ‘race’ (contradiction) I want to be understood, but do I seek to understand (hypocritical, contradiction). I long to have compassion for my fellow man’ yet at times I am literally disgusted by our connection (contradiction) I want to age gracefully; yet I want to change my face (contradiction) I want to lose weight, but I know I am perfect just the way I am (you guessed it contradiction) I want to paint. To try my hand at improve. I want to give my time. Travel, love, laugh. I doubt my capabilities knowing I can do most anything I set my mind to (contradiction). I dream of romance. I wish to ease other’s pain. I cry at movies. I hide this. I don’t perpetuate this, so do I really want? (contradiction) I could go on with dozens more examples. Life is one big contradiction. A state and we are all mere players blindfolded by bullshit! I want to see this as clear as day, yet ignorance may be bliss.
