The doors that once promised hope now stand closed and grey, My heart, once afire with purpose, now feels drained and far away, My body, weary from the battles fought and lost, My soul, a canvas of exhaustion, worn and frost. The enemy's whispers pierce my mind, a subtle, insidious creep, Twisting words, poisoning thoughts, making me doubt and weep, I took the hammer, meant to shape my fate, But ended up being forged, by the fires of my own weight. I grasped the key, to unlock my destiny's gate, But found myself imprisoned, by the chains of my own fate, Confusion reigns, uncertainty my guide, As I stumble through the darkness, searching for a light to abide. Yet, in the midst of this turmoil, a spark remains, A glimmer of hope, a flame that flickers, but refuses to wane, For in the depths of my soul, a voice still whispers low, "Arise, take up your bed, and walk, for you are not alone." In this moment, I choose to rise above the pain, To find the strength, to face the darkness, and to reign, For though the devil may taunt, and though the journey's long, I know that with each step, I'll find my way, and my heart will be made strong.
