There stood two large vehicles; one was from the Red Cross and the other from the Samaritan Purse. In the middle of all the destruction stood a church facility serving as distribution center. For me, there was no doubt as to why that Christian facility was still standing. One word sufficed: God. Why don't storms continue their devastation? Why do they bother to cease and desist? Why do ocean waves usually cease at the shore? Why isn't there multiple volcanoes all at once? Why has mankind not self-destructed? God. Why does knowledge come gradually over time? Why are so few people ahead of their time? It's not a mystery that you and I are not in control. Why is the earth the only planet known to have Air, wind, water, trees, wild vegetation, etc.? God.
