Why
Why do you think, you can darken my days, and lie to my sisters around me? What is the price, I pay you to go, far back from the place that you found me? Who told you I, wouldn’t mind if you stole, and broke every bone in my body? It’s your world I know, my role not to show, best behave and not do something oddly. Who said I’d be fed, from scraps off your plate, when I have learned not to be hungry? Why tell me such things, and get into my head, making enemies even among me? What good does it do, to spend time with you, and why do I feel like I’m coasting? It’s always the same, you’ll forget my name, but others will hear of your boasting. Where is the care, the will I know’s there, I don’t understand why you hate me? Why is it that, besides from the cat, it’s always just me left out lately? When will you stop, let’s go from the top, I’ll hear out your whole life story? It’s one in the same, we just change the name, and fight for our own piece of glory.
