Or that puny-looking Hitler could command Unquestioned loyalty from his Nazi minions? Or that Stalin could starve his countrymen? Psychopathic killers, all rose to leadership Over their countries and maintained order Through intimidation and by seizing control With the help of the unsuspecting citizenry We think it cannot happen in the U. S. of A. But we have witnessed an attempted coup To overthrow the will of the people voting And a president who admired the dictators He came to know during his brief presidency Still claiming authority over his avowed party Going around the country holding mass rallies Reminiscent of Hitler’s during the late 1930s. Study carefully the photographs of leaders For they will reveal the hidden personalities Of those who crave leadership and control Always keep in mind that power corrupts -- Absolute power corrupts absolutely -- and The masses are easily deceived by deceivers Be careful never to trust a liar -- for all liars Are careful to tell you what you want to hear.
