Energized
'The Energizer Battery' keeps going and going. He's always fit and feisty and never fizzles or faints. He is always 'fueled' and ready in a flash to serve others. He's even energized enough to keep the drum beats going. Each morning that I arise is a new morning, a new day. When I am kissed by the sun and spoken to by the morning star, I'm MOTIVATED. When I open my front windows and doors to allow the cool morning breeze to embrace and sweep over me, I am MOTIVATED. If by mid-morning or noon, those white clouds should turn to gray, it'll be okay, because I've been entertained by the dawn and charmed by a bird's song. When I look over and see a fresh rose all dressed in white, red, and pink for my morning pleasure, or a newly formed cactus blossom longing for a photograph, I am MOTIVATED, because they have 'made my day'. I tell you, their refusal to wither and die empowers me to go for it. There's nothing new about me. Oh, strap that. I forgot the fact that our cells and skin have a timeline, forcing their demise, only to be renewed, revived, and remade into fresh new team players. Our God designed us to live and be inspired by every piece and part. I'm on the sunny side of seventy, but ahead of me, I see no downside. I may be on the rough side of the mountain; but look who's climbing! On the way up, I'm observing flowers growing through the rocks, and other weeds, grasses, and seedlings digging deeper looking for water. I tell you, I would have to be comatose to not be MOTIVATED by these. There's no quit in them; so why should I allow them to outdo me? 071321PSCtest, Motivation, Shreya LN. HM
