You are a shrapnel shell
 - that tears me in a thousand pieces
Some find their way to heaven
take wing and fly into the eye of the storm 
Some fall in the sea
- becoming crystal salt to shine by night.
The rest fall on the paper
- to mark a poem on the page for you
