Things that Make you say, Hmmm

There are instances in nature that imitate the nature of some humans.
Tis sad but true that...

a mockingbird makes fun of another bird who sings more beautifully

a thorn pricks until it draws blood, but it never injures the rose

a moth thinks it has beautiful wings, until a butterfly emerges

a crow takes pleasure in taunting others until its feathers get ruffled

a bully intimidates but gets burned when the tables are turned

narcissists think they are in control until someone laughs at their arrogance

plagiarizers and AI users... nah. Their denial is a waste of time

I like the hierarchy that you put in place that elevates from the simple to the more disturbing examples of what you are driving at. Smiles!! Terry Flood Date: 8/19/2025 4:29:00 PM In a nutshell, Lin. I’m sure there’s a few out there wondering, ‘does she mean me?’ I’m beginning to think that AI is trying too hard to be too human. I dabble with it, to get an idea of what my poems could sound like, sung, but frankly, without some serious prompting (ie with punctuation, deliberate mis-spelling and surreptitious capitals) it can, seriously… produce garbage. I use an unusual word, such as in my current poem, the word "lo", meaning "there "(archaic). AI is confused so purposely writes loving without my permission.
