The silence breaks with a held breath,
a scream concealed beneath the skin.
Her voice—a hush of shattered glass,
each echo folds itself within.
He weeps in rooms too loud to hear,
his grief rehearsed in quiet rage.
The thunder waits behind her lips,
a storm unread upon the page.
