Pops
American Haiku
Rainy, nasty day and night
Train whistle in distance
Early morning hours
Contemplation brings Enlightenment
Or Believed so
Buddhist awakening
Realize Poetry's Power
affects me physically
Body in turmoil
Spray Wasps hang-out
Keeps them away
They can sting, harm
Moon glows overhead
Santa on fire engine
making his rounds
Sun shining majestically
Running usual errands
Home to reading books
Complete silence at night
Conducive to study
Talking to loved one
Pops are my passion
scribbling away
the blissful hours
