No gods need apply

Tending to be creatures of whimsy, spirit and superstition
Deriving power from unsteady voices
Unsure of the implications of undefined “truths”
Pandering to the belief that “they” are the only “one”
Would we bow before an icon, an idol, a statue
Blindly serve a heaven-sent huckster

Or maybe…someday…become more than an echo
Become a voice, an action, a thought
That alters the arc of inanimate action
Challenging the reign of the Butterflies wings

Rejecting narrow conditioned belief that serrates, separates, dissects, biscects, if we simply step back in silence, pausing, witnessing all thoughts the rise and subside, strobes of light in silence reveal we are spirit, not form and that all that is, is a singular consciousness field, which we too are.

And Abraham himself told God to 'Wait a minute' while he took care of three undistinguished Arab wayfarers one hot day... when God came to visit him three days after his PAINFUL self-circumcision at age 99... Oh, well. That's my two cents for the evening. Keep on challenging the norms, my friend.

I've been studying this issue intensely for over forty years and am absolutely convinced that the Bible is inspired and that Jehovah is the only true God. So there's that
