Morning Whispers
I wake up in the morning,
Like everybody else,
The whimsy morning wind,
Flirty and charming as ever,
Plays with me.
For she is my friend,
She strokes my hair
And tells me things
That no one knows,
We laugh, we cry,
Until one of us dies.
The birds look down
And sing songs
For us.
We Look up
And show our pearly whites,
Basking in the joy
That this moment brings.
And so the mornings go
The mornings go
Mornings go
And go and go.
