Mental Health

Moth wings aren’t as bright
Even when against sunlight
No one fears the butterfly
Tears smear the maddest cry
A man is scorned for life
Let him morn let him try

Holding on to tender insides
Energy driven by his pride
Amethyst pain from his brain
Licorice lies drive him insane
Talk to him about mental health
How to listen how to help

Well written. Mental problems are disabling though a person may appear healthy. The brain is a fragile machine.

The poem touches not only on personal pain but also on society’s response — how people are judged or ignored (“A man is scorned for life / Let him mourn let him try”). It invites reflection on empathy, patience, and awareness. It’s a reminder that struggles aren’t always visible, and that understanding and compassion can make a real difference. It’s more than mental health — it’s about human kindness and noticing the unseen battles people face.
