I Am Sky Blue

The shade of blankets for baby boys
A little girl's darling play unicorn

The robin's nest with her blue eggs' soft jitters
That water inside a blue hydrangea

Where the eyes of us looking show
The lover's true color of touching below

Be it forever then
So goes the horizon

The invisible clock making us invisible in day —
Maybe even the sea if it stopped pulling away.

oh gosh, I had even read this one not even realizing it was in my contest. I think I also NAd this one because it was too long. I am not sure, but I think line limit was 8 lines. In the future, just be sure to read my directions really carefully. by the way, I really do like this!

Okay, cool. The limit was ten lines, but I did not follow the rules about the title. I actually changed it just now again to exactly how you said you wanted the title. Best! Hugs, and thank you for your kind compliments <3

Dear Paige, I love how you move from these small, intimate glimpses to the vastness of the horizon, the invisible clock, even the sea. Such a quiet meditation here on time, connection, and fleeting moments, and it lingers long after reading. Blessings, My Dear Paige, Daniel

Your color, a shade of numerous applications, captivates, particularly in those sky blue gazes that hold the vastness of the heavens. Best of luck in the contest, Paige!
