You've mapped the political landscape so well Maureen. We're in a maze once again. Pronouncements from the US capital are often at odds with each other. What the oligarchs will sign into law has consequences long lasting. A timely write. Best wishes.

Maureen, you have it pegged precisely! Our leaders and business people may have an idea how things really work in nature, but they would rather sacrifice everyone's future for the sake of short-term profits. Our rules of accounting would look very different if the costs that we all pay were borne by these unethical and amoral criminals. There will be no escape from natural law. We'll be seeing it all very soon. I'd say smiles, but it seems annoying to ponder their stupidity and selfishness.
