Ebbs And Flows

Ageing and poetry
Both teachers of my soul
Priorities and values learnt
Understanding self , feeling whole

Knowing the power of kindness
The clarity and strength of simplicity
Having greater appreciation in life
Holding dear what is most important to me

Embracing love and the ones l love
Voicing positives from my heart
Respectful of honesty and humility
Knowing the positivity and healing humour imparts

Life is not always easy
A venture of highs and lows
I have learnt to both cope and celebrate
Navigating lifes ebbs and flows
