Hi John, Yes this can happen, here or anywhere. The problem is people think that an opinion is truth. My words are not truth. They are the world as I see it after decades on this earth. I wrote a poem about this very topic.. people cannot distinguish anymore between truth and don’t question the speaker. It’s OK I think..to have a dialogue, yes?? Pangie

Ain't it the truth! Good gosh you would think that having an opinion that may differ from others makes one an evil ogre. Such is the divided, hateful world we live in. Thank goodness for the decent, reasonable folk who can engage in healthy debate without the lies, slander and name calling
