When I saw that we were only going to get three cherries this year it reminded me of how much I love them, wait to see then in the store! I guess our three cherries inspired this haiku! There is beauty in every line of this haiku, but I especially liked the second line. Nice to think that even a cherry can be someone's 'sweetheart,' Lol. :D

Nice, that's an apt name, summertime candy. They caught my eye in the grocery isle - why didn't I get them? and I thought about making a pie out of them. Hmm, next time I think I'll buy them - you only live once!

Hi David! I, too, was thinking about the cherries I passed up at the store. Love cherry pie! We have two cherry trees, one tart one sweet! This year we have two cherries.
