There is suspense, manipulation, jealousy, obsession
and a dark psychological phantasy.  Can a second wife compete with the perfect phantom?  A heroine with no name, a deceased spirit, Rebecca.  Focus is on the heroine’s hidden strength that has turned the tables of her tormented  world empowering her marriage. Best gothic literature.  The book is on banned literary and challenged books list.

Fantasy Library

Xanadu was embraced with philodendron,
Palace-like architecture, the plant went on,
and on, weaved its way around the corridor
Light luminated thru high ceilings of grandeur     
As I entered the bookstore’s library atrium,
A quick lesson was gifted me on consortium                                                     
Books stacked in no discernable sequence,  
encouraging readers, inviting intuitive, for instance
Systems Dewey and the congress classification,
outdated, I used the browse method simulation
Running my fingers across ridged book spines,
By published authors with classic story lines   
Eyeballing velveteen varieties of book covers 
Sneaking-peeks at blurbs for fantasy lovers
Sashayed my way to Banned and Challenged Books, 
in the clutches of pop-up trendy  chic-cozy nooks
Skimmed Ann Frank’s  The Diary Of A Young Girl,
and turned satin gold-leaf edge pages of Rebecca,
gilded and burnished 24k, a gothic romance unfurled

No more decimals, no more books on the same topic in several sections of the collection, or even the same title on two different places on the same shelf. Spine labels will use language of your choice and color coding.  Browse your collection without having to search for a librarian

Perhaps the controversy concerned the brilliance of the new bride's mind--more astute than any male in the story--a woman who decides not to obey. Books are like medicine. You may find one that proves to be the wrong prescription for you. But it does not give you the right to burn down the whole hospital! So she also wrote "The Birds" a short story, fascinating author, her inspirations where Jane Eyre and Brontë sisters, I read. If I'm correct, they banned Rebecca in 1938 for literary license. Ty for your support , you are always a breath of fresh air!

I am a skimmer, I did hang at the library for a decade in the AC during summer's heat, checked out docu tapes of artist's, mostly impressionists, during my painting period in 2009. Still use my library card! Spice and its history books etc... books come in many forms, to journey and explore is healthy. TyVm Tommy
