A Belated Fourth of July

                        A Belated Fourth of July
                                 7/7/2025

I wanted to send God‘s blessings to you,
To all past readers, new or true!

Even though I haven’t been here as much.
To all who write to me, I feel your butterfly-touch.

And when you ask me, “How how are you?
Pangie, you doing well? Your cataracts, too?”

You are my very “friendships inspiration bell!
I sense your poet’s heart, making my heart with joy swell?

So to friends who take the time to comment, dear
Or, you soupmail me….when I’m not here.

Know that your are sweetness to me ….
For that, I hold each of you, especially dear.

And so when I saw the fireworks last night,
Your faces, kind words, kept me joyful and bright!

With a warm, patrioitic, hug!
Pangie

Hello Panagiota, I find that complicated poems are hard to read and to comment on. i avoid these poems. I have no idea what they are trying to say. I use to stay awake until 11:00 not any more. So I know what you are saying. Hugs. /Darlene/

Hello Darleve, i, too felt this poem was warm. For the most part, I never write complicated poems because for me, poetry is to communicate not to confuse.. or make references do things people have no idea what I’m talking about. Yes, the phone is dedicated to all my friends and my friends unknown and yet to be discovered so it really is for everybody.. I hope to read back.. and moe active soom, you have read me for five years already Give yourself a little break. I know you’re busy so that’s what I mean.. getting the right amount sleep eating and so on. I know I can’t stay up like I used to anymore.. into the wee hours of the morning not a chance. I have to get my sleep.. OK sweetie.hugs, Pangie xx

Dear Kenneth, these lines will only touch my friends. I am not a writer of joks. Poetry is a chance to connect with others on a deeper level as I see it, though I love to perform comedy, I cannot write it, On stage, I love it. We can be friends forever, please, do not feel you must comment to. every poem I know that I commented a lot less than I used. And I explained you why and a soup smell.. I think every poet should follow their own path and not expect people to read them every day. That includes me. you, my friend and enjoy every day you have.. movie say one at a time and enjoyed it too expo with gratitude Hugs, Pangie xx

Thank you Efena! I think the line in this phone are velvety about the care. I have I know here.. It was not a woo hoo about the holidays.. but it was more of a poem about appreciation of the police that are close to me here. And it was a salute to all of them.. most of them don’t even know the good effect they’ve had on my life. )) hugs..Pangite xx
