Soaring like the Eagles do
that look that's in your eyes.
It says to me you're leaving
for a “Tequila new Sunrise”.
In heaven when you get there
there'll be a brand new sound.
As Angels sing together
there's a “New Kid that's In Town”.
It's no “Hotel California”
there's no better place to be.
Still this “Heartache Tonight”
is still waiting here for me.
The “Desperado” yesterday
no longer here to roam.
I hear whispers “Take It Easy”
as the Good Lord calls you home.
“One Of These Nights” on down lifes road
I know we'll meet again.
You're memory lives in music
