Favorite Flower

Daffodils of gold wind their way through heaven's green pastures As angels whisper through the meadows of my mind Fragrance forgotten through the passing years Forever dormant, lingers in sphere of time Ominously transparent in the shells of life Done now are things I cannot change If only I could return the fragrance that I stole Letting you know that I seek forgiveness Soon all seasons would shower daffodils

wow, I love how you did this. I never got to see it earlier and now I can see it was in that contest judged a while back. Big congrats. I hope it scored high. So clever to do it as acrostic.

Agree. Once had 13 acres of them...smelled heavenly...and all around the fence of those acres...grew wisteria...so heavenly...
