My 1st Contest!

Ok  for my 1st contest it will be a member only contest-no premium members allowed!That's right Soupers I wanna see some really fresh faces on the Winners List! I repeat,no premium members(you guys will get your chance). Only the members-especially the new poets here on the Soup!I'm gonna go ahead and tell you my theme for the contest."My Best Poem Ever". That's right new poets....I wanna see the poem "you" think is your best poem you ever wrote or if you can write me your best poem(that will add more points to the placement)....
I always welcome my fellow poets to write me,send pics of them. Don't be shy-All poets are welcome to write and say hello to me!I look forward to my first contest! Love you guys:

Good for you, Jimmy. These contests are a lot of work and I really have to give credit to those who sponsor them. They provide inspiration and a challenge to all who enter. They are also great teaching tools, as we can all learn from others. Lainie

I think you will find Jimmy that some of the non-premium members have been around as long as any premium members so it will be hard to qualify them as new. Carol is right we usually get the same people in every contest ( premium and non-premium mixed) Congrats on holding your first contest , I hope you enjoy it immensely, My first one scared me to death but I love doing them now.

I wish you the best on your contest Jimmy. We usually don't get many new poets in the contests. If you look at some of the contests where we have given everyone a placement who entered you will see that we usually have the same poets entering the contests. I really hope you do get all new poets to enter your contest that would be splendid. Love,Carol
