Wish You Were Here, My Dearest Friend

Today I was sitting by the beach, listening to the waves crash, the Sun Blazing on my face, the warmth reminded me of your smile, a gentle wind brushes across my skin as I'm reminded of the day we met, and the ticking flickers like Starlights, coming and going, just as the wind, and in this somber silence comes to Light the preciousness of a moment. I wish you were here now, to see what I see as my Heart beats with the same fire that was Scintillating in your eyes. Beautiful things are hard to find, as I capture the Rays from the Sun to fill the gaps that only you could. Time is Fleeting, and life is Precious, with that I wonder where you are now. My eyes close for a moment and all I can hear is my Heart beating in the emptiness of the Void, a distant memory of your laughter as you layed beside me comes to mind and a sweet melancholy surrounds me as I open my eyes a butterfly flutters across my path , it's these little things that make life Beautiful and Worthwhile because before you know it, it's gone. Perhaps one day the Embers from the Bonfires that were forged within our souls, that have now turned to dust, will reignite once more, and I will find you beside me once again.
